Ski Holiday Packages to Kozuf, North Macedonia

Kozuf is the newest and most ambitious ski resort project in North Macedonia. Watch this web site for offers on ski vacations to this great new winter holiday destination.

The Kozuf ski center is being developed near the Momina Cuka area, not far from Gevgelija and only a few meters from the border with Greece. The highest peak is Zelenbreg at 2201 meters with the bottom of the resort being at 1628 meters altitude. To reach the Kozuf ski resort, it takes only about an hour's drive from Thessaloniki in Greece and a little less than two from FYROM's capital of Skopje. The first ski lift completed operational tests in March 2007 and a six seat Doppelmayer chair lift was installed and started operating for the 2008 ski season. Two drag lifts are also in use. Other infrastructure is slowly put into place. The planned hotel development will now hopefully be ready soon. A small number of apartments are available for rent. The expected capacity is for 13,500 skiers an hour with about 65 kilometers of ski runs, making it a good sized ski resort. The planned development includes a shopping mall, hotels and chalets for sale. The project got a boost in November 2010 when a Dubai based fund bought the majority stake.
